# Send notification to Application

> The App Notification Service under the Marketing tab allows marketing users to send app notifications to customers or channel partners using pre-defined or newly created templates. These notifications are sent via the RU Connect App.

## **Steps to Send App Notifications**

### **Step 1: Navigate to App Notification Service**

1. Go to the **Marketing** tab in the application.

2. Click on **App Notification Service** to open the feature.

### **Step 2: Select Notification Template**

1. Choose an **existing template** from the available list.

1. Alternatively, create a **new template** based on your preferences.

### **Step 3: Select Notification Receiver Type**

1. Choose the **Type of Receiver** for sending notifications:

   * **Channel Partners**

   * **Customers**

### **Step 4: Apply List Filter**

1. Select a **List Filter** to refine the target audience.

2. The system will display the **total count of customers** who will receive the app notifications.

### **Step 5: Send App Notification**

1. Click on **Send Notification** to initiate the message dispatch.

2. The notifications will be successfully sent to the selected customers via the **RU Connect App**.
